Alyssa grew up in a Christian home in Dundee, NY. When she was in kindergarten, she heard the Gospel and was saved by Jesus Christ. In the following years, she grew through the guidance of her church and family. Alyssa started her work with Lamoka in 2011 when she was fifteen years old. This year proved to be a turning point in her spiritual walk and it led her to purposefully pursue a life lived for Christ. Alyssa began her college career at Piedmont International University in 2015, but transferred to Moody Bible Institute in 2016. She will graduate this May with a B.A. in Communications. During her time at Moody, and after working at Lamoka for 8 years, she decided to pursue full-time, vocational ministry and was blessed to accept the Communications Director position at Lamoka Baptist Camp. In this role, she will be responsible and manage all of Lamoka’s lines of communication and social media accounts.
